[TSL] Playable Mission Vao v2

Well, this was a very quick process to update the mod. :D
I hope you will enjoy this version more than the original release. (In fact, I suggest you uninstall the original version if you installed since I didn't include a manual update package for it because I tweaked the 2da rows in addition to everything else.)

In this new release, the head skin looks closer to Mission Vao than my previous release of this mod. Like the original mod, no porting was involved in the making of this mod.

Installation Instructions: If you have the previous version of this mod installed, I recommend uninstalling it before installing this new version. To install this mod, simply run the .exe after extracting the contents of the 7z file.
Bugs: None known; But, tell me if you find any.

[TSL] The Trials of Darth Herrco....DEMO

This is a short demo of a mod I am working on which upon completion will be called NMK2: The Trials of Darth Herrco. During this mod you will play as Darth Herrco, apprentice to Darth Poxus. When last we saw Darth Herrco he was recovering in a kolto tank during my first mod, Korriban Expansion. Now, he is out! In this demo, you will guide Darth Herrco through his first Trial on Korriban. The decisions you make will help in determining the fate of Darth Herrco. Good versus Bad, Light versus Dark...is up to you.

This demo does not use the TSL Patcher. The file includes instructions for manual installation.

[KOTOR/TSL] Insta-kill Sabers

Well hey there everyone.

I've debated whether to put this on the emporium as it isn't really a mod, or at least not a good one anyway. Nor is it something anyone here couldn't make in a few minutes with kotor tool. Anyway, I decided someone might find it useful so here it is.

Originally, I quickly made this on request from someone in the republic newsfeed, but I might as well release it to the world.

So the mod is fairly self explanatory from the title, it adds the onhit instant kill modifier that the insta-kill blaster has to five? new lightsabers, one of each color in the game by default. Check the readme for instructions on how to get them in the game.

To be honest i'm really not sure why someone would need this other than potentially for mod testing to get out of fights quickly, while still not wanting to sacrifice their jedi (or sith) look by carrying around a blaster.

This small mod collection replaces textures around many places in the Telos Citadel Station – in this case, the various signage seen around the station.

One sign in particular seemed very rushed to me – the pink cantina sign with the animated Twi’lek. (File name: TEL_BBrds2.tga) I’ve redone the sign – using the original colors so everything matches. Of course once I started, I knew I had to continue. All textures have been doubled in size and have had the Aurabesh font reapplied. I think the resulting appearance is now crisper. Feel free to draw your own conclusions. (By the way, all the text on these signs can be translated into English. I may very well make a thread explaining what the signs actually say.)

Constructive criticism is welcome.

For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 - Extract the TGA files and the TXI file into the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic/Override folder.

[KOTOR] Gaffi Stick Improvement

Well, a year and 3 days ago I created a mod that changed the horrendous gaffi stick texture from a 64x64 monstrosity to a respectable 1024x1024. I also added a unique(ish) texture for the chieftan's gaffi, and modified that gaffi's description a bit to fit with my changes.

[KOTOR/TSL] Blaster Pistol Enhancement

I recently showed off some screenshots of enhanced blaster pistols using Captain Hair's blaster pistol model. The goal of this mod is to finish, in a sense, what Captain Hair started with the blasters and make all blaster pistols in both KotOR 1 and KotOR 2 of high quality. When reskinning for the blasters I attempted to match them as closely as possible to their default icons within the game. Anyway, without Captain Hair this mod wouldn't exist so a big thanks to him.

[TSL] Canon Meetra Surik Reskin

Mod: Canon Meetra Surik Reskin for TSL

I believe this mod is compatible with Shem's Dark Side Transitions.

This is a reskin of the PFHC05 Head in TSL. It also includes a portrait to match the re-skinned head. Since TOR has been released, we now know that the exile was a woman named Meetra Surik whose physical description was short brown hair, pale white skin, and piercing blue eyes. While I think I have seen a reskin that tried to attempt this , neither of them really follow that description for some reason. I also think this gave the head a much more textured look, making my end result something I am content with. Download link will be below. I hope you guys like it, it's my first mod so just doing the eyes and skin took forever, haha. If anyone still plays this amazing game, I think this would be a great addition to your override folder. It is also the perfect thing to have for a canon runthrough.

Hey there fellow SW:KoToR Players, Modders and geeks such as myself lol! I am proud to announce my very first mod to KoToR, these skins are AWESOME and were created for my favorite 2 party members in the game: HK-47 and T3-M3! These little death bringing, computer hacking, bad attitude having robots kick some serious @$$! So I redesigned their looks, with complete overhauls to the original skins released with the game! This pack includes portraits and complete .gui interface, as well as new .txi files I created to improve on the feel and look of these new skins.

Had some issues with the last reskin :headbump!!! BUT I DO NOT GIVE UP THAT EASY LOL! So I spent my day off creating this bad boy from scratch WOOT! ENJOY! Seriously perv this bad boy, the detail on high graphics setting is amazing, phantoms in the paint, screamer faces, and the coup' de grace is a secret... So if you already downloaded you may want to check again, I figured out how to animate the textures on the model, a.k.a EPIC MOD! DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD!!!! All bugs fixed in texture, you have to see it!!!

[KOTOR] [K1] Twi'lek as PC W/Darkside Trasitions v1.0

Ok day 3 of modding KoToR and this is my first release of many. v1.0 Twi'leks as playable PCs. Yeah I have seen it done before, but these look GREAT. Full body dark side transitions, player photos and new underwear layers. Will be updating this as I go, but for right now there are 2 female Twi'leks added as pc playable characters. Plan on adding 2 more females and 4 males in the future along with customized gear for all of them, once I figure out how to place them in world via scripts. ENJOY and any and all feed back is WELCOMED!
These should be compatible with all other mods, as long as they are not using the same file names, also one bug I already found without knowing how to fix it. On install it tends to mess up the orange head switching it with a random head from other mods? AND IT IS RANDOM! But if you uninstall other pc mods, install this and reinstall the others it seems to work just fine. ENJOY, AND MAY THE SWARTZ... *mutters mutter... stupid Yogurt...* THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!

[TSL] JC's Saber Workshop

I'll admit this is a small mod. It does one thing, but it does that one thing exactly as I imagined it a few years ago, before I had acquired the skills to properly execute it. This mod adds a workshop to the Ebon Hawk's garage, with which you can construct or deconstruct lightsabers and lightsaber components. It won't affect the Crafting a Lightsaber quest at all, for the record; you still have to acquire those three parts and take them to Bao-Dur. After that, however, you can use the workshop to create more of these parts and combine them with a crystal to get a new lightsaber, or to break down one to rebuild it as another type of saber, which is what the above screenshots show.

In short, you have more control over your lightsabers; you can create sabers out of crystals and components, and you can change lightsaber type at will.

Compatability
  • It IS compatible with TSLRCM and any other mods that alter k_003ebo_enter.ncs, provided you follow the instructions in the readme.
  • It IS compatible with mods that alter the workbench. This places two new placeables on the Ebon Hawk and utilizes different 2DAs for the upgrade screen, so it doesn't affect the workbench at all.
  • It SHOULD be compatible with saber mods, but with limited function. Basically it will install fine, and it will work with the game's sabers, but I can't guarantee it will work with custom ones.

The Future
  • I do have a couple ideas for additional features, such as a way to synthesize crystals so you can theoretically make as many sabers as you want, so yes, there will probably be updates.
  • Also, I am considering adding support for other hilts, provided I get permission to use the models. But that would really expand the scope of the project, so I wanted to get everything I've done so far out first. So we'll see.

[KOTOR] A... *Beautiful* Jawa

Gorgod and I were supposed to make a mod back in 2011 surrounding the story of Omoh the Jawa and Yag, his janitor soulmate. Yag was tragically captured by a gang of Hutts and taken into a secret compartment under the Czerka sandcrawler - which, by the way, was not a sandcrawler but, rather, a Hutt partyhouse. Omoh would hire <PLAYER> to find his dear lover, only to find out that the Hutts have already eaten him. Out of grief, Omoh would go on a rampage and murder the Hutts. Then he would go to the sewers - also in the sand crawler - to try to dig out his lover, even if he is now only… excrement… But he ends up being eaten by a rancor.

Moral of the story: Stories are nothing without application in a mod.

[TSL] Improved Peragus Asteroid Fields

Hey guys, longtime KotOR fan and veteran of the Team Gizka forums here. I haven't really been much of a forum user since the Team Gizka forums died a few years ago, but I still remember many of the usernames of those who posted there, and was pleasantly surprised to see some of those people under the "Currently Active Users" listing here on LucasForums as I've checked back in over the past few days (Sith Holocron, BIOSHazard, Hassat Hunter, etc). Glad to see that many of you haven't lost your love for KotOR, either.

Anyways, 8+ years after its release, I've finally released my first [extremely minor] mod for KotOR II. All it does is take the abysmal default Peragus asteroid field textures and replace them with one I made. It isn't perfect, but I think it's a vast improvement over the game's vanilla textures.

Below are four screenshots, two of the what the game looks like by default, and two of what it looks like with my mod installed (warning: 1920x1080 images).

P.S. On the subject of KotORFiles: what exactly happened to that website? I know there was that whole drama a few years ago where it was supposed to be shut down, and then it ended up being bought and kept alive, but now it seems to be pretty broken. When I go there, it almost always loads a version of the site from around March 2011. After refreshing a bunch of times, it eventually loads what I presume is the current version, with files as recent as July 2013. But, then, half of the newer files give me invalid file ID errors. Anyone know what's up with that? It's disappointing; it used to be such a great website.

[KOTOR] Pazaak Fixes&Tweaks

Hello!

I decided to put together a number of fixes and tweaks that apply to the Pazaak portion of the KotOR game.

The unfair mechanic of the KotOR Pazaak minigame (later amended by Obsidian in the sequel) is what prompted me to start my work. From there I have expanded it to try and make the whole Pazaak business a better one. If you are one of those that don't like to (ab)use the "Reload" button, this might be a good modification to have in your Override.

This is a very minor modification that corrects a mistake made by the original developers where one male sith apprentice is using a female soundset while his female colleague is using a male one.

This is likely to be part of the K1 Restoration mod.

As you can see, Alien's work is remarkable. Unfortunately, v.1 has some issues with the Actions UI in the lower left (mines and force form are borked, and the action description hovers over the menus rather than displaying above, making the arrows a pain to use).

After some digging around, I was able to fix these issues and am releasing the fix with Alien's permission.


To install, simply copy the two .gui files into your Override folder.
To uninstall, take it back out.
